Strange, that's not the ARB bumper/guard that most people seem to use. Not sure who makes that one.
Also, the running boards are so soft-roady it hurts - a Jedi craves not these things. They function for sill protection against brush, but that's about all. Despite that, I can't really slam them, because Rover themselves offered folding steps as far back as the Series II. *Those* things were functionally garbage.

Sweet jeep brah! Building a restomod sort of thing like this right now, been working on it off and on for a couple years, a buddy of mine owns it. 4.2l with a serpentine swap. All new OE parts where available, even wiring harness! major mods are wheels/tires, cage (no squishy cage, couldn't find all the parts in good condition), leather wrapped dash with improved vent ducting for better airflow, powdercoated frame and a bunch of other tasteful improvements. Love these.

That's awesome! Serpentine swap is the way to go. What year is it?

This is another one we built a few years back. I worked for Columbia Rovers at the time. That truck went to SEMA in 2011 I think it was. If you're curious that front bumper was a ARB prototype at the time.
Sorry to sort of hijack your post.

It's cool! Not much of a post to begin with. I was instantly curious about those bumpers so thank you for that.
Had to be one of the more understated things at SEMA. Is that body really from '63?

No, it's a mish-mash of years, it is a configuration that rover actually produced though. I don't remember what year the latest one is titled as, 90's I think. I just build 'em.
